According to my online dictionary, a gazebo is ‘a small building, especially one in the garden of a house, that gives a wide view of the surrounding area’.

This project has done exactly that and given its delighted owners and occupants an extremely wide view of their garden. Specialised Canvas Services are as pleased as our client with the way this has turned out and proves once again that given a challenge, we’ll rise to it.

This particular gazebo was measured up by one of us as it was quite close to our factory in Chesterfield, and so the finished product was prepared based on those accurate dimensions. Not everyone who would like to have something like this in their garden will be within a short drive of our factory, but we can quite easily recreate similar along these lines based on customer drawings.  This project has done exactly that and given its delighted owners and occupants an extremely wide view of their garden. The side panels were made to size, allowing for the gradual slope of the roof and secured to the main timber frame of the structure using turnbutton fixings every 30cm. The material used is coated acrylic and the window panels clear PVC, both perfect for this kind of application and aesthetically pleasing too – available in a range of colours to suit any garden area. In this case, we added straps to allow each side panel to be rolled up with ease and secured neatly and effectively when the weather is fine.

The window size is very much a personal choice and although these particular panels may seem a little large, they will allow more light inside and give those sitting comfortably inside an uninterrupted view of their garden.
