Specialised Canvas has embraced the challenges of 2020 and 2021 and continues to grow and develop as a supplier for contract sewing and bespoke canvas solutions. In a time when other organisations have made cutbacks and tough decisions, we’ve been able to move forward as a business, evolving our production facility and our team, and upholding our status as an industry-leading supplier.
Since the beginning of the year, we’ve implemented some major changes to our factory floor. Firstly, by bringing all stages of Specialised Canvas production into one building, we’ve created a dedicated space for our teams and streamlined all stages of the production process. From design to the finishing touches, each department has a home in a renovated and purpose-made area of the facility on a shop floor that is designed for efficiency, safety, and superior levels of service.
As we moved everything around, we found the space to introduce several new machines to our plant list, growing both the capacity and the capabilities of Specialised Canvas. These state-of-the-art additions to the assembly line mean that we’ll be able to take on more diverse projects, as well as exhibiting flexibility to deal with last-minute requests for our customers.

During this period of expansion, Specialised Canvas is thrilled to have a number of vacancies and will soon be welcoming new team members to several departments as Sewing Machinists. Adding more members to a team of dedicated staff will provide extra support and assistance across the manufacturing and organisational operations of the business, and guaranteeing a superior service for every type of customer.
